Clarvo — published by NexForge Labs India · Support: support@nexforgelabs.co.in
Last updated: 12 August 2026
This is a strong draft, not a substitute for a lawyer. It's written to be accurate and protective for NexForge Labs India, but a qualified advocate should still review it — in particular to confirm compliance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA) 2023 for your specific data flows, and to adapt it if you sell to customers outside India (e.g., GDPR obligations for EU customers).

1. What This Covers

This policy describes what data Clarvo collects and why. It reflects what the Software actually does as of this writing — not a generic template disconnected from the code.

2. Data We Collect

2.1 License activation and trial data

To activate a license key or start your 7-day trial, Clarvo sends the following to our licensing server (hosted on Cloudflare):

  • A machine identifier: a one-way SHA-256 hash derived from your Windows installation's MachineGuid. This is not reversible back to your original hardware identifier, and is not linked to your name, email, or any other personal information at the point of collection.
  • Your license key (if activating a paid license).
  • Timestamps of activation/validation checks.

This data is used solely to: (a) enforce the trial period per device, (b) enforce the number of devices a license key may be activated on, and (c) allow us to revoke a specific license if needed (e.g., fraud, chargeback).

2.2 Purchase information

If you purchase a license, our payment processor (Razorpay) collects your payment and contact details directly, under their own privacy policy. We receive your name, email address, and purchase confirmation (to deliver your license key), but not your full payment card details.

2.3 What we do NOT collect

Clarvo does not collect or transmit: the contents of files it scans or cleans, your browsing history, your file names or folder structure, telemetry about your usage patterns, or any data from the Junk Cleaner, Disk Analyzer, File Organiser, Startup Manager, Uninstaller, Driver Inventory, Registry Cleaner, or Privacy Cleaner features. All of that activity happens entirely on your device.

2.4 Crash log (local only)

If the Software encounters an unexpected error, it writes technical details (exception message and stack trace) to a local file on your device (%LocalAppData%\PcCleaner\crash-log.txt) so you can send it to support if you choose. This file is never transmitted automatically — it stays on your device unless you send it to us yourself.

2.5 Network Care / Speed Test

If you use the "Run Speed Test" feature in Network Care, your device connects directly to Cloudflare's public speed-test endpoint (speed.cloudflare.com) to measure your connection. This is a direct connection from your device to Cloudflare, not routed through or logged by us. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for how they handle that connection.

2.6 Software Updater

If you use Software Updater, it invokes Windows' own winget tool, which communicates with Microsoft's package repositories directly from your device, under Microsoft's own privacy terms.

3. Data Storage and Retention

License/trial records are stored in Cloudflare Workers KV, a key-value store operated by Cloudflare. We retain this data for as long as your license/trial is active plus a reasonable period for support and fraud-prevention purposes. You can request deletion by contacting support@nexforgelabs.co.in.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share the minimum data necessary with:

  • Cloudflare — infrastructure hosting for the license API (Cloudflare's role is as our data processor/host).
  • Razorpay — our payment processor, for purchase and license delivery.

We do not share data with any other third party.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete the data we hold about you. Contact support@nexforgelabs.co.in to make a request.

6. Children's Privacy

Clarvo is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If we learn we have inadvertently collected data from a child without appropriate consent, we will delete it upon becoming aware.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Tamil Nadu, India.

8. Grievance Officer

In accordance with applicable Indian law (including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, where applicable), grievances or complaints regarding this Policy or your data may be addressed to:

NexForge Labs India
Email: support@nexforgelabs.co.in

We aim to acknowledge grievances within a reasonable time and resolve them as promptly as reasonably possible.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy at our discretion. Material changes will be reflected in the Software's release notes, the "Last updated" date above, or on our website. Continued use of the Software after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
